Graphics at the front of the control room show ISS is about to start the pass over ATV. The ISS crew are ready with the Fialka equipment which they will use to make ultraviolet and visible range observations. We just heard that the crew reported they can see ATV as a dot through their camera. -- Maria

Second deorbit burn analysis is complete: The engine burn ran just under the planned time, meaning it was 40 seconds short of the planned 15:00 min duration (we'll confirm and update this later).

Incoming telemetry is starting to contain alarms and alerts as the on-board accelerometers are detecting out-of-range movements. -- Daniel

MCC-M (Moscow) has just informed ATV CC that the astronauts on the ISS are ready to begin their observation/tracking of ATV.

ATV tumbling has started - contact is now only every 1 tumble..
